How generations are processed

Artyx is a node-based desktop app. When you run a generation node, the inputs that node requires — for example your prompts, reference images, and 3D models — are transmitted from your device to the third-party AI provider that powers the selected model. The provider processes those inputs, returns the output, and we relay it back to your device. Workspace files persist locally under ~/.artyx on your machine. Artyx itself does not retain the content of your generations beyond what is needed to bill the request and operate the service. Each AI provider applies its own data-handling, retention, and training policy to data it processes; please review the provider's policy before sending sensitive inputs.

Sub-processors

We rely on the following third-party sub-processors to deliver the service. This list is current as of the effective date above; we will update it as we add or remove vendors.

AI providers (process generation inputs and outputs)

  • Tripo — image-to-3D, text-to-3D, retopology, texture
  • Meshy — image-to-3D, retexture (via fal.ai)
  • Tencent Hunyuan — image-to-3D, multi-view-to-3D (via fal.ai)
  • Black Forest Labs — Flux image generation (via Vercel AI Gateway)
  • OpenAI — GPT image and text models (via Vercel AI Gateway)
  • Google — Gemini and Imagen models (via Vercel AI Gateway)
  • xAI — Grok image and text models (via Vercel AI Gateway)
  • Anthropic — Claude text models (via Vercel AI Gateway)
  • fal.ai — model hosting and routing for select 3D and image models
  • Vercel (AI Gateway) — request routing and metering for AI providers

Infrastructure and operations

  • Google Cloud Run (Google Cloud Platform) — hosts our backend API
  • Supabase — authentication, account database, and metadata storage
  • Stripe — payment processing and merchant-of-record billing
  • Vercel — hosting for this marketing website

Each sub-processor receives only the minimum data necessary for its function and is contractually bound to handle it consistent with applicable data-protection laws.
