Version v0.7.91

Plugins install more reliably and safely

You can now install marketplace plugins in a format that other compatible apps can also understand. Plugin problems are handled more gracefully too, so one broken part no longer makes the whole plugin disappear or stop working. If a plugin is removed, changed, or fails to load, Artyx now gives you clearer status and cleans up more completely. Connection problems are also easier to understand in Settings, with the actual endpoint shown instead of a template.

What’s new

  1. Install portable marketplace plugins

Marketplace plugins now come in a format that works across compatible apps. That makes them easier to move between tools and keeps Artyx aligned with the new plugin standard.

  2. See failed plugins instead of losing them

When a plugin cannot load, it stays visible in the store with a reason instead of vanishing. That makes it much easier to tell whether something is missing, broken, or simply unavailable.

  3. One broken part no longer breaks everything

If one skill or connection inside a plugin fails, the rest can still load. A bad setup is now contained to the part that failed, so more of the plugin stays usable.

  4. Removed plugins clean up properly

Plugins that were removed from the catalog no longer keep running in the background. Their files, saved values, and approvals are cleared out when you launch Artyx, so you do not end up with hidden leftovers.

  5. Connection issues are easier to read

Settings now show the actual endpoint a connection is using when something goes wrong. That makes it easier to spot where a plugin is trying to connect and fix the right setting.

In the app

Where to find it

  1. 01

    Open the plugin store.

You can now browse portable marketplace plugins that are meant to install in compatible clients.

  2. 02

Install a plugin from the list.

If part of it cannot load, Artyx will keep showing the plugin and explain what happened instead of hiding it.

  3. 03

Open Settings and check your MCP connections.

Each connection now shows its health, and error messages point to the resolved endpoint being used.

  4. 04

Reinstall any plugins from the previous format after updating.

Older installs are removed on first launch and need to be added again from the marketplace.
